A special lyric change, the word “dress” to “suit”,   was generously given to me by Jerry Herman.

I remember the phone conversation as though It was yesterday. He said, 

“This is exciting. You will be the first woman to record this song”. My father often said,

“ You never know unless you ask”. My interpretation was inspired by Edward’s special grace at the keys.
